Masters of the Earth: Unraveling the Ownership of Our World

Masters of the Earth: Unraveling the Ownership of Our World
Original artwork by Demetri Welsh.

In this exploration, I, Demetri Welsh, delve into the intricate web of ownership that blankets our planet. At first glance, it might seem that corporations, governments, and influential figures hold the reins. Indeed, their power is undeniable, shaping economies, politics, and social structures. However, to truly understand who owns the world, we must transcend the material and enter the realm of the metaphysical.

Corporations and Governments: The Material Custodians

In the tangible world, corporations wield significant influence. They own vast tracts of land, resources, and possess the ability to sway political decisions. Governments, on the other hand, exercise control through laws and regulations, ostensibly serving their citizens but often influenced by these very corporations and the elite.

The Wealthy and Influential: The Visible Powerholders

A small group of immensely wealthy and influential individuals also plays a critical role. Their decisions impact global markets, political landscapes, and even environmental policies. Their power is often visible, yet their true extent remains shrouded in mystery.

Spiritual Perspective: The Esoteric Ownership

From a spiritual vantage point, the concept of ownership transforms. The Earth, a living entity in many spiritual beliefs, cannot be owned in the traditional sense. It is a stewardship, a sacred trust bestowed upon humanity. We are but temporary custodians, tasked with caring for it.

The Collective Consciousness: The Ultimate Proprietor

Delving deeper, one might argue that the world is owned collectively by the consciousness of all living beings. This consciousness transcends physical boundaries and material possessions. It's an interconnected web of thoughts, emotions, and spiritual energy that shapes the very fabric of our reality.

Conclusion: A Shared Responsibility

Ultimately, the question of who owns the world is complex and multi-faceted. While materially, it may seem to be in the hands of a few, spiritually and ethically, it is a shared responsibility. Our collective actions, thoughts, and intentions play a crucial role in shaping the future of our planet.

The artwork I created for this article is visually encapsulating the complex idea of world ownership. It reflects the intertwining of material and spiritual realms in determining who truly holds the reins of our planet.
