The Unexpected Client Who Changed My Day

Alright, let’s dive into the chaos of today. My morning started off like any other: with Chelsea, my loud-ass pup, barking her head off at some ungodly hour. She’s got this thing where she thinks she’s the guardian of the whole damn neighborhood, especially when it comes to squirrels. So there she was, at it again, barking up a storm at a little critter just minding its own business. You’ve gotta love her, though; she’s got that fierce loyalty that I admire, even if it drives me up the wall. Anthony was already in the kitchen, making coffee and shaking his head at the madness. That’s what I love about him—he knows how to roll with the punches.

After calming Chelsea down and getting my morning meditation in, I sat down to do what I do best—connect with the energies of my clients through email readings. I don’t do in-person or telephone readings anymore; everything’s strictly through email. I’ve found it lets me really tap into the energy without the noise and distractions of a live conversation. Plus, it’s a hell of a lot easier on my schedule.

I logged into my website, demetriwelsh.com, where all my psychic readings and energy work bookings come through. The usual flood of emails was there: some regulars looking for guidance, new clients asking for insight into their lives, and a few skeptics who were clearly just looking to test the waters. But one email stood out—a woman named Denise. Her message was brief but loaded with urgency: “I need your help. Please read ASAP.”

Now, I get a lot of emails like this, but something about hers felt different. There was a weight to her words that pulled me in immediately. I could feel her desperation through the screen. It’s moments like these when I know I’m exactly where I need to be, doing exactly what I’m meant to do.

I set aside my other readings and focused on Denise’s email. She wrote about her teenage son who had gone missing a few weeks ago. She didn’t give many details, but the energy in her words was thick with fear and confusion. She’d been having these intense dreams that felt like more than just dreams—like messages. She asked if I could connect with her son and give her any insight into where he might be.

I’m not gonna lie, missing person cases are tough. They’re not something you just casually read. But I felt a pull to help her. So, I took a deep breath, cleared my mind, and tuned into the energy. As I focused, I saw flashes of a teenager in a blue hoodie, standing under a flickering streetlight. I could feel his anxiety, but there was also a strange sense of determination. I quickly wrote back to Denise, describing everything I saw in as much detail as I could.

Within minutes, she responded, her message filled with shock and emotion. She told me her son had been wearing a blue hoodie the night he went missing. That detail alone hit her hard—it was like a confirmation that she wasn’t losing her mind, that her dreams were trying to tell her something real. We went back and forth through email, and I guided her through a visualization exercise to try and connect with her son’s energy more deeply.

By the time we finished, I was emotionally drained, but I could sense a shift in Denise’s energy. She thanked me profusely, and even through the screen, I could feel a bit of her burden lift. She promised to keep me updated, and I’m holding onto hope that her son will find his way back to her.

After that session, I needed a break to shake off the heaviness. I stepped outside for some fresh air, watching the dogs chase each other around the yard. Chelsea, of course, was still on high alert, probably looking for that damn squirrel again. Anthony handed me a cup of tea and just stood there with me, not saying a word. That’s the thing with him—he knows when to talk and when to just be there. As I watched our little circus, it hit me how life can be so chaotic yet peaceful at the same time.

That’s the lesson, isn’t it? One minute you’re diving into someone else’s darkness, trying to help them find their way out, and the next, you’re dealing with the everyday madness of your own life. It’s all a balance, this messy, unpredictable dance we’re all doing.

By the end of the day, I was exhausted but felt like I’d done something meaningful. The universe doesn’t always give us what we want, but it gives us what we need, even if it comes wrapped in tough lessons. Today’s lesson? Sometimes you’ve got to walk through the darkness with someone else to help them find their light. And in doing that, you might just discover a little more of your own.

So, there you have it. Thanks for reading, and keep those emails coming—I thrive on this. Until next time, take care of yourselves and don’t let the chaos drown out your light.

Catch you all soon,

Demetri
