Why I Quit Fiverr: The Real Story

The talented sellers on Fiverr deserve to earn what they’re worth, but that ain’t really happening with those kinds of cuts.

Then, there's the buyers. Some are great, but others? Total nightmares. You’ve got these assholes who order, then demand a refund, and then order again, and again. It's a never-ending cycle of bullshit. And when you try to call out this scammy behavior, Fiverr’s customer service treats you like the problem. It's like being kicked while you’re already down.

But here’s the kicker for me. Fiverr looks down on spiritual services. Yep, they straight up told me that as long as I was in the spirituality section, I’d never make it to their so-called "top seller" status. I had over 12,000 five-star reviews and earned more than half a million dollars on that platform. But none of that mattered because I didn’t fit into their neat little box.

After a lot of soul-searching and meditation, I decided to take my energy elsewhere. I built my own damn website where I can do things my way. No more jumping through Fiverr’s hoops.
