Why My Music and Books Are Dark
Updated: Aug 9
Hey there, beautiful souls. It’s Demetri Welsh here, back to shed some light on why my music and books might seem darker than you expected. If you've ever wondered why I dive into the shadows in my art while my services deal with light and high vibrations, stick around. This post is for you.
Darkness as Therapy
First off, let's clear the air: my music and books are dark for a damn good reason. They’re my therapy. They’re my way of exorcising the demons from a past riddled with abuse and pain. And let’s be real, I know I’m not the only one with a fucked-up past. There are countless others going through similar hells, whether it's now or way back when.
My music is where I pour all that darkness out. When you listen to my tracks, you’re not just hearing music—you’re feeling the raw, unfiltered emotion I’ve embedded in every beat and lyric. That shit is cleansing. It gets the poison out of my system and, if you’re vibing with it, out of yours too. Music has this magical way of cutting through the bullshit, hitting you right where you need it most.
High Vibration Masked as Darkness
Now, don’t get it twisted. Just because the music sounds dark doesn’t mean it’s low vibe. Quite the opposite. My music operates on a high frequency, designed to shake you to your core. Think of it as a sonic purge. My music is a transmission of high vibration energy meant to cleanse and elevate.
Real Talk in My Books
My books followed a similar path. They started off as simple adventure chronicles. Fun, but not exactly hitting the mark of what I wanted to convey. So, I got real. I got unfiltered. Look at “The Adam and Eve Story: Revisited” and “The Demetri Effect.” These aren’t your typical reads. They’re potent, just like my music. The Galactic Chronicles? Same deal. These stories aren’t just tales—they’re reflections of the raw, uncut energy that flows through me.
Why It All Matters
So, why do I do it? Why mix this high vibration energy with what seems like darkness? Because that’s where the real power lies. When you’ve been through the kind of shit I have, you learn that true healing doesn’t come from ignoring the dark parts. It comes from facing them head-on, from acknowledging the pain and transforming it into something powerful. That’s what my music and books do. They take the darkness and turn it into light, into high vibration energy that heals and empowers.
Stories from the Shadows
Let me share a couple of stories to drive this home. I remember one time I was working on a track late at night, just me and my thoughts. I was deep into a dark place, memories of past abuse swirling in my head. I channeled all that pain into the music, letting it flow out of me and into the track. When I played it back, I felt this incredible sense of release. It was like I had purged a piece of my soul that had been festering for years.
Another time, I was writing a chapter for “The Demetri Effect.” I was digging into some heavy shit, revisiting old wounds. But as I wrote, I felt this incredible energy building around me, like a cocoon of high vibration. By the time I finished the chapter, I felt cleansed, lighter. That’s the power of facing the darkness and transforming it into light.
The Beautiful Fusion
Everything I create—music, books, my psychic and energy work—it all pulls together in a beautifully unique way. It’s all part of the same high vibration energy that I live and breathe. When you engage with my work, you’re not just consuming art. You’re stepping into my energy field, feeling the static electricity that surrounds me. It’s a potent, powerful experience that I hope resonates with you on a deep level.
So, next time you listen to my music or dive into one of my books, remember: it’s not just darkness. It’s a high vibration, cleansing force. It’s me, unfiltered and real, sharing my soul with you.
Stay strong, stay high vibe, and keep facing those shadows.
Peace and power,
Demetri Welsh
